Shana Amla

Shana Amla is frozen Indian gooseberries that are small and round with bright yellow to green color. This frozen fruit is considered to be very nutritious and healthy with a bitter and sour taste. Amla is known to be a very nourishing fruit with high levels of Vitamin C; it has quite a sharp or even a bitter and sour taste. Shana Amla can be used frozen or defrosted as well making them a convenient way of enjoying the fruit.
