How to make Goat Stew
Like I said before, there are so many ways to prepare goat meat, however, slow and long is the best way to bring out its full flavor and make it tender.
Now, let’s get started with the recipe.
Take a large bowl and mix the goat meat with vinegar, soy sauce and garlic, then cover it with a lid. Here, we are marinating the meat to make the Goat Stew more flavourful (to get the best results you should marinate it for at least 6-8 hours).
After that, remove the meat from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels but reserve the marinade and garlic cloves. Then, set aside the goat meat for a while.
Heat the vegetable oil or any cooking oil that you prefer in a large pot or slow cooker over a medium heat and cook it for 10-15 minute until the meat changes its color to brown.
Now take the chopped onion, red bell pepper and garlic cloves and cook it over medium heat until the onion looks translucent. Pour the tomato sauce and cook it in a simmer heat for about 5 minutes.
Put the goat meat in the mixture and cook it until it is tender for 30-40 minutes. Mix the cubed potatoes, carrots , peas, and season it with salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Cook it for 20-30 minutes and adjust seasonings before serving.
Your flavorsome Goat Stew is now ready to serve.
